Case goods resource Martin Home Furnishings announced that it will exhibit at this April’s High Point market in a new showroom in Furniture Plaza, 5th floor, space 512. Martin’s newest brand Curt Christian Design by Martin (formally Highland Design) will make its east coast debut, as well as new products under the company’s cornerstone brand Kathy Ireland Home by Martin.
“High Point is a staple market that our east coast customers find essential,” said Karl Eulberg, vice president of sales and marketing. “We are thrilled to have upgraded our presentation and look forward to showcasing our new products in our Furniture Plaza location”
Martin’s lease in the National Furniture Mart expired last year.
Curt Christian Design by Martin new collections include Strata and Dupree. Dupree is a fashion forward lifestyle design with a bright white finish and subtle chrome detailing. The eye-catching white leather platform bed features hand-applied nail heads. Strata includes a wall bed with floating shelves and a rich tobacco multilayer contemporary finish, plus case pieces with deep routing on all sides that create interest.
Havana and Portland Loft are new cross-category collections from Kathy Ireland Home by Martin. Havana contains a recipe center that can also be a compact home office with file space and laptop work surface, or a TV wall unit with media and component storage. Portland Loft includes an expandable architect’s desk and scribe’s desk with rolling utility cart, and TV console that doubles as a sideboard or entryway table. The products in these collections speak to today’s busy consumer who needs functional furniture that adapts to changing needs.
